Pros

1. The CEO is ruthless on costs, which saved the Company through the recession. 2. Great character of people work here; meetings at times feel like your working with friends, even at the most senior level. There is a collective passion to do what's best for the Company among middle and upper management.

Cons

1. The Company is based within a few miles of some of the more progressive companies to work for in this area and is still severely lacking in what have become the most basic employee-based programs/policies (e.g. telecommuting). 2. In the portfolio of skill-sets for a CEO, he falls way short in the 'cares for employees' category, lambasting HQ-based staff for not coming in during a 2 ft. snow storm when every other Fortune 500 company in a 20 mile radius was closed (or leveraging their formal telecommuting policy to maintain some level of productivity). 3. Reliance on corporate travel and construction makes Hertz vulnerable and holds the company back on share value.

Pros

Great place to work in tandem with other professionals in your trade, always had a feeling of "family" working alongside my peers. We come together when times are tough, this is very rewarding,

Cons

The current economic and geopolitical spectrum have been proving a challenge to this industry as a whole, thankfully we are a resilient outfit with the best people at the helm.

Pros

It is a decent place to work with a steady environment and meaningful day-to-day responsibilities. Overall, it's not a bad company to be a part of if you are looking for stability and purpose in your tasks.

Cons

The internal culture is highly political, and professional advancement often depends more on favoritism than merit. You frequently have to play corporate games and kiss up to management just to get ahead or be noticed.
