Pros

- Good company reputation and strong brand image to industrial customers - Global exposure is high enough if you're working on some high visibility program - Working-life balance

Cons

- Change too much in recent years. Henkel has gradually lost it's core value and competitive advantages in the market since the high frequent changes happened too much. - Insufficient leadership in director & VP level managers. Everybody is waiting for the top-down order from top manager - Too political in handling business development, strategic planning, and go-to-market plans. Everybody is telling story rather than getting hands dirty and doing something really helpful to the business - Not competitive salary level comparing to foreign companies in China - Not so many smart people around you; not come joining this company if you can't tolerate mediocre colleagues

Pros

The job is not too difficult. You mainly work on your own, Pay and benefits are outstanding.

Cons

12 hour shifts. Only one tech per shift so vacations can be a bit dicey. Support from peers is low and there is a lot of back biting in the lab. Sometimes they seem to be lookng for a scapegoat.
