Pros
The biggest pro is that the owners are too preoccupied with their family life and running their company into the ground to be at the office the majority of the time.
Cons
This business is a complete joke. Instead of giving employees proper training and helping them find the keys to success, they instill fear and intimidation into them and perform bait and switch techniques to try to get employees to do what they want in that moment. I was told that I was hired to lead the entire staff and work on market expansion, and that I'd be given a list of existing customers in order to make commission right away. Instead, I was given a list of "leads", which were actually contacts from 2017 who had not been reached out to since. The owners refused to allow me to tell anyone I was their boss out of fear that another employee would quit if they found out. Peter, one of the owners, told me I nodded my head too much and my voice wasn't loud enough and equated that to why I hadn't made a sale or molded the team the way he wanted after my first couple weeks with the company. He had the audacity to ask me to change the tone of my voice at one point, as though that's even a possibility. The owners have zero work ethic or morals, which was witnessed first hand several times. This included when they interviewed and hired an unpaid intern and did not tell them the position was going to be unpaid until their first day. When the intern quit, they blamed me. They keep hiring people that they cannot afford to pay, and then they find some bogus reason to fire them after putting them through the ringer. There is zero accountability among the owners, and instead of trying to boost their ever decreasing sales, they are too busy yelling at employees and trying to get them to put down ideas on white boards.
