Pros

Management has always cared deeply about employees here. It has gotten harder as a public company, but they do care.

Cons

There have been many layoffs in the past 2-3 years. This has caused a hitt to morale and, of course, more work for those who remain.

Thank you for your feedback. Our leadership team deeply values team member morale. We want our team members to feel supported and engaged, and I appreciate you highlighting this valuable opportunity for improvement. I recognize that we face significant challenges, and each year presents the demanding task of “earning the right” to continue moving forward as an independent public company. In this work, we remain committed to transparent communication—acknowledging both the positives and the difficulties—without resorting to corporate spin or empty messaging. Team member engagement is a top priority for leadership, it is at the center of our company strategy, the center of our company flywheel. We don’t want our team members to lose confidence, and we remain committed to making sure our message aligns with their experiences. I’m sorry to hear that our communication did not fully meet this goal for you. We will continue striving to improve, working to better address both the challenges we face and the reasons for optimism. Your more than eight years of contributions to our success are very appreciated. I wish you the best in your next chapter! - Dan Burton

Pros

Great Talent & Culture: The people here are highly capable, collaborative, and committed to helping each other succeed. The partnership between onshore and offshore teams works well and is a real strength. There’s a culture of grit and stability that has helped the company navigate multiple major transitions over the years. Mission-Critical Engineering: The work involves complex data infrastructure that requires deep technical expertise. It can be demanding, but seeing these systems run successfully and support real-world operations is consistently rewarding.

Cons

Wage Compression and Retention Risk: Compensation for tenured and high-performing staff has not kept pace with the market for specialized data engineering and support leadership. In practice, tenure can feel undervalued or even penalized. This creates risk around losing institutional knowledge and operational continuity. Stagnant Career Progression: Contrary to stated expectations, strong performance ratings do not consistently translate into meaningful, market-aligned compensation growth. The process of how compensation is benchmarked lacks clarity in practice, obscuring how compensation decisions are made and what is required to advance.
