Pros

Pros may be remote work but management uses that as an opportunity to be condescending and demeaning since they don't have to look you in the eye while doing it.

Cons

-The pay is below industry standard (less than $5/hour) and then they will use further ways to deduct from it. Example- $20 deducted off your pay if you are late even once by a few hours. - Extremely low commission ( 1-2%) for the vendor tier that is most popular with their client base. - Good design does not come so cheap and creative work takes longer than a few hours to churn out. The result is that clients receive a subpar product and keep asking for revisions ( unlimited revisions are allowed that the designer is not compensated for) This is basically just an unpaid waste of time and effort for the designer. - The disrespect for designers in this company is unbelievable. They think that by constantly telling you that you are not good enough, they can make you believe that you have to put up with their unfair ways. The so called management team hides behind their computer and creates an extremely manipulative environment. They are constantly threatening to terminate your contract in an attempt to get you to put up with their toxic environment. Advice to CEO: Shake up the HQ design leads and have people with proven management experience. You pay designers so low, at least if the leaders are motivating and pleasant to work with, it makes it easier to show up to work.

Pros

Little to none. Remote work is nice but comes at a cost.

Cons

-Terrible customer service. -No contacts within the company to help with issues they create. -Horrible decision making/all changes made for designers are not thought through. -Seems like everyone who does make decisions, has never been a designer in their life, or even close to one. -Constantly stuck trying to defend yourself to the client while waiting 24-48 hours for a response from anyone in the company. -Laughable pay. You'll never find a designer that charges $100 for an entire job. -Awful commission, and when you do finally make something from an order, the purchasing team is guaranteed to mess something up. Your client will cancel the order and you'll lose your commission for something that is out of your hands. -No one higher up cares. AT ALL. Designers will complain all day and night about issues, things that don't make sense, not being heard, etc. They don't care. They will always act like nothing is wrong and brush off anything you say. -Clients see the terrible customer service and are constantly complaining about issues within the process.
