Pros
Hassett has a workforce of various races with ages ranging from young to not so young. I have made many good friends here and have learned a lot from the experienced people and have mentored people with my expertise. The old owners did run a great business, and "stayed the course "and lead the company through the heavy printed media era with the same business model. Times changed and the market changed. When the company was bought by the residing president it was time for a new direction. She has been upgrading systems and aggressively trying new markets and has had some great success. I feel confident with the direction and effort that she is putting into growth. We as a company have been down and through some tough economic times as many logistics companies have, but I believe we have "turned the corner" and are on the road to a great future.
Cons
There are some Nay sayers and people that insist on living in the old days. As the old saying goes " If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem " . Some personnel need to take the extra effort and present a positive and not a negative attitude.
