Hanover Research Response
7yThank you for your feedback. There isn't a lot here that I would disagree with besides the 'doesn't recommend' rating you provided. All of the pros listed are great reasons to join Hanover as an entry level employee - a lot of training opportunities, it looks great on a resume and promotion opportunities. Raises do become more substantial as employees move up in the organization but it has been challenging for most organizations to stay ahead of the increase in salary expectations in certain markets. We are working on addressing it in certain parts of the business. We would be open to having more conversations with staff to retain them before they put in their notice but these conversations need to be initiated by the employee. We do review our 401(k) matching each year and based on input from staff, have chosen to keep health care costs low for employees instead of increasing the company matching portion. This decision puts more money in our employees pockets each pay-period that they can choose to use for their retirement savings, paying back student loans, etc. Employees at all levels have direct access to our executive team through coffee check-ins, the anonymous suggestion box as well as just reaching out over email. We're still small enough where this is possible to do. Hanover can definitely open a lot of doors and we're a great first job for all the reasons you've listed as well as a few more like our remarkable cohort of employees and the impactful work we do each day. That said, I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on your time at the company.
