Pros

Uh...mmm...uh...there’s not one pro that I count.

Cons

Imagine carrying someone on your back who will tell you where to go and keep most of your money, too. Literally a revolving door - most franchisees will interview close to two hundred handymen per year, hiring half of them, never having more that ten at once, most staying less than a month. The entire underlying premise of this parasitic franchise is being an otherwise unnecessary middleman between homeowner and handyman using online marketing and charging high rates but paying low percentage to handyman, with the first 1/3 going to franchiser, 1/3 to local franchisee who must pay for local advertising, and 1/3 to the craftsman who must go to estimate and bid job leads without being compensated for that time interest. Craftsman also must do the work for the jobs/bids won, submit the invoice and collect payment. The pay amounts to minimum wage, all things considered. It’s the worst arrangement for a handyman by far. There is no benefit for a handyman unless you’re into legal slavery. Quite frankly, the franchiser takes all the juice right off the top, leaving the franchisee with little profit and the craftsman with only minimum wage. Those who are able to stay are either homeless or live with parents - I haven’t known any other arrangements last for any considerable period.
