Pros
A majority of the people are hard working as their annual bonus is used as the primary motivator; perhaps to the point of determinant (high attrition rate).
Cons
Too many to speak of.... leadership generally is non-communicative, non-existent, and extremely weak; Ownership is lazy and completely disengaged; Leadership does not have a pulse on what is happening within the ranks; The company culture is solely monetary based; Senior management has a "do nothing and hope for the best" approach; New leadership lacks experience, direction and vision; The company lacks internal communication processes (random emails serve as corporate direction); The field and office staff do all the work and "feed the machine", but are not recognized equally; Project pursuit decisions are arrived based upon maximizing employee bonuses (not about projects or clients) and therefore work is always run extremely lean; The companies bonus structure is a "pyramid scheme" to the benefit of upper management, and senior leaders; There exists no exacting professional progression plan for employees (rules change at the whim of ownership; mid-year, ,etc.); Annual review process (the portion which is in control of the employee) is completely based upon subjectivity ( 100% on 360s, or the opinions of others; rather than actual performance or achievements); The culture is a reflection of its people, very "cult like", old school, clichés of favoritism, morally questionable, archaic, racist, and "narcissistic"; There exists little to no diversity or inclusivity within managerial ranks; Employee benefits are below industry average.
