Pros
You will learn a lot about being a teacher working with children from lower income families. You will learn how to teach different areas on content.
Cons
You will receive little to no support. Also the school is not the cleanest, I used to get to work super early and leave late cleaning and sanitizing the classroom and toys. I also brought plastic bins to protect snacks and cereal boxes because I would find rat droppings. You get paid only once a month and there is no direct deposit so you will have to go to the school to get your pay checks during breaks (winter, spring, and summer). The pay is not the greatest. If you do not like wearing long skirts and dresses, you will not like this school. You are not allowed to wear pants, Friday's are the only day that teachers are allowed to wear pants.
