      Pros

      Good overall work environment. Employer showed respect to healthy life work balance. Employer took great interest in personal career development. Provided good opportunities for dialogue with supervisors. Challenged younger employees to leads on initiative.

      Cons

      Within my department, micromanagement tended to be an issue. Often ran into problems where projects went over budget yet much work still needed completed and there was a drive to get as much work done in as little time possible. Scrupulous logging of hours on various projects.

      Pros

      Close knit group, even though the number of engineers is in the hundreds. The company is very well managed. Lots of engineers with long tenures with the company and vast experience. There's a reason for that! Making efforts to be cutting-edge in design, tools, and approach.

      Cons

      Not many cons. Working in a satellite office has its drawbacks.
