Pros

Where else can you say you work for an OEM that makes products for the largest corporations, royalty, celebrities (including founders of famous companies)? Where else can you get inside a private jet and experience what normally multi-millionaires and billionaires experience? Pay is unmatched. Only company where they pay engineers properly (with respect to cost of living). Benefits are very competitive too. They host some really good events for the employees and sometimes their families.

Cons

Sales and upper management fail to understand that quality can NEVER be rushed. This goes against everything the corporation stands for. The insane schedule has created sizeable attrition. There is also inconsistency in design and drafting standards and quality. This has to be improved upon. Be a little more flexible with remote work and allow select employees to print documents from home as they are sometimes needed to do more complex designs/checks. Security is important, but with or without a printer, a bad element can steal information. Hire the right people with a proper background screening and this won’t happen.

Pros

-Work in an air conditioned hangar! -All the tools and support needed to do the job -Excellent training available -Good safety culture -Fairly easy work -Lots of opportunities to grow

Cons

Big corporate politics at times. Some people just love to point fingers. Rules that are very excessive due to incompetence, instead of just firing morons.

Pros

Rather decent front loaded time off. 4 day work weeks. A pretty decent off shift incentive.

Cons

Management does not care about their people. They are so far removed from what’s going on on the floor and too focused on passing the buck to someone else for their screw ups. People are placed in positions they should not be in simply because they know someone or they kiss up to someone. The people on the floor have very little fixed wing experience yet act as if they know everything. The only path they create for people to move up is A&P and even then they just want you to stay a mechanic. They neglect to realize that people stay with a company for the culture as well as leave because of it.
