      Pros

      You can get free stuff in their shop that has some of what the online website sells (you have to meet your quota). Every now and then, they will do something engaging with the employees while you are working such as spin a wheel even, scavenger hunt or a race for fun. Pretty clean environment and diverse people. Most of the people in management is nice as well as the employees. You get an employee discount on the merchandise online. You get one 15 minute break for part and a 30 minute break for part time.

      Cons

      During your breaks, the live counter is still going. You can skip your 15 minute paid breaks if you want to for the sake of meeting your numbers but, you can't skip your 30 minute break as that is mandatory. It can be very hard to meet your numbers. The quota system is flawed-it goes by how much the consumer purchased in one order. It doesn't count by order. I was written up twice in the beginning trying to go as fast as I can through the low orders. They gave me a trainer after my second offense, and it was only then that I met my numbers. Its not even like I wasn't working or slacking during the time I wasn't meeting my numbers. I purely got punished for not going fast enough but, it really isn't just about speed.

      Pros

      There are some really good, smart people to work with at Grove. Decent pay. All expenses paid trip to the annual company meeting in San Francisco. Employee discount on all products we sell and we also got samples of some of the Grove Co brand products that we developed. Small, scrappy teams – opportunities to help out on lots of cool projects.

      Cons

      There are also some really not smart people working there, and unfortunately they're director level managers and up. Lots of bad decisions from bad managers which led to layoffs literally every 3 months. Lots money wasted on redundant systems, inefficient workflow and operations processes leading to botched product launches and products going out of stock. Absolutely disasterous Shopify transition — that whole team should be gutted.
