      Pros

      Immediate coworkers are largely great to work with, benefits are nice, and when the work is going smoothly, it is fulfilling.

      Cons

      Low pay, racist, homophobic, poorly managed with little transparency from administration and library board members, high stress not from day to day activities but from poorly thought policy making and waiting for the next bomb to drop on staff.

      Good career and enjoyed the patrons of the GCLS.

      No other job in the system interested me.

      There aren’t many pros. Nice coworkers and decent management.

      Cons

      Pay. Pay is a joke. For part timers you get no work life balance. They give you a TINY bit of time off. It’s not a good work life balance. They also play favorites.
