Pros

Lots of walk ins.. Constant marketing.. Lots of locations, so you can transfer (if you BEG)... Open lots of hours (but expected to cover lots of holes in schedule)

Cons

Upper management is unsupportive and abusive.. I've never seen anything like it. Way too much paperwork... Emphasis on the wrong issues... Training required employees to cover ALL of there own expenses... Abusive customers are so scary, you feel unsafe... Management pay is barely more than you make as a stylist (SO not worth it).. Impossible to take a break... Rules are not enforced...

Pros

Great co-workers, good tips, generally busy, clientele overall friendly, management is super cool and will try to be as flexible as possible with your schedule.

Cons

Working evenings and weekends, but that is salon life.

Pros

Flexible schedules, 401k, health, & dental benefits, bonuses (based on salon performance, base wage with poetional to hit commission on service & product sales, fun friendly & welcoming environment for employees/customers, continuing education for growth in the industry, professional career growth with Great Clips (depending upon your franchise)

Cons

Haircutting exclusive so if you enjoy other services in the industry (chemicals, waxing, updo styling) this is not the place Franchised salons, so salons are ran differently.
