Pros
Good, smart people with tons of banking experience. Its a large bank that is still essentially a community bank. Senior Management is quite accessible and engaged with day to day activities. You can expand your skills by working in areas outside of your expertise because the bank is willing to give you a chance to grow. Grandpoint is flexible and always looking to grow.
Cons
There are a lot of different regional powers so it can take time to all get on one page and move forward with projects. This can be tough when your dealing with tight deadlines. Because it still operates in some aspects as a small bank a lot of the decision making power rests with certain people. Your relationships with them can dictate your power and progress. Politics is important though not at all 'cut throat'. Also its a 'lean' bank. Like most others expect to do 2 or 3 jobs at once. Its a bit of an 'old school' banking culture. This can be a bit boring for young people who want innovation and dynamic experiences.
