Pros

Helping disenfranchised youth change their lives and improve their futures. Graduation Alliance affects a real difference in the lives of those less fortunate.

Cons

Strict focus on numbers, not students. Everything is about bringing in students and making sure they take their classes in order to get money from the districts: Enrollment counselors are heavily pressured to get students into the program, Academic coaches are encouraged to keep students working at all costs. This causes a huge amount of employee turnover. Upper management is entrenched and unchanged, no chance for advancement. They'd rather burn through employees rather than change their practices. They recently acquired another company, absorbed their assets and let go many "redundant" employees despite years of dedicated work. CEO is particularly and visibly unconcerned with the welfare of his employees.

Pros

They were as startup still, so they do try to give development and training opportunities to those who want to advance.

Cons

not much experience from upper management where it counts. You are just a number and can and will be replaced if and when they want.
