Everything. HR policy of this org is crappy. This start up needs to mature a lot and be open to negative reviews and feedback. Founders panic when there is a bad review, and then beg employees to call the reviewer to remove the comment. They are updated with all the negative reviews online but don’t do much about it. Employees are treated like crap. It’s not a place for marketing professional. Scope for creative expression is a lot lesser.. budgets are very limited; Even a simple presentation will be approved in the morning and rejected in the evening with a vague feedback as “I don’t like it” I don’t think people as such are bad, the start up needs to mature and become more human. Or human friendly. They had managed to hire a passionate bunch when I was there. They couldn’t retain the energy. People were asked to leave or left on their own. Founders are new to Hospitality like industry. They can’t appreciate the talent and effort that goes behind “service” service industry attracts very empathetic n service minded people but the this organisation is an offshoot of an IT company and they operate as like that.
