Pros
-The CEO is enthusiastic and believes in the mission. -Staff all believes in the mission. -Moments of generosity by Execs. -Good tech platform, getting better over time. -Enthusiastic co-workers. Positive can-do attitudes!
Cons
-There is no diversity at the top, reflected downstream. -Unrealistic expectations; thinks only about more for less in less time. -Raises and reviews rarely happen and are ad hoc at best. -Not very good at growing talent. -Exec team comprised of former Elon acolytes, a tight-knit group. If you're in, you're in; if not, well, you're not. -Their tech has been a problem from inception, and their management practices at that level leave a lot to be desired. -A 21st-century company with an "Office Space" mindset. -Micromanagement of tech professionals has had many sound engineers leave. Mismanagement of talent leaves a lot to be desired. -Everyone is micro-managed, with abysmal leadership from the top. -Those are not stock options; they are incentives; the CEO will never relinquish any part of his company.
