Pros

Free Gym membership Met a few very nice genuine people

Cons

0 appreciation shown for working 5-15 hours of overtime a week to try and help your club reach it's monthly goals or beat out all the other gyms in your region, not to mention without getting paid at all for the extra time spent not even regular hourly pay for the extra hours. They'll explain to you after a couple weeks of this why you won't be getting paid for this extra time but by all means keep at it! You're killing it! "You'll be a GM in no time!" Going above and beyond goes unnoticed in a large corporation like this. You will go until you burn yourself out then you will surely hear about your lack of caring for your position or your lack of reliability when you become so physically and mentally exhausted trying to make a wave and impress the higher ups you need a day to regroup. Then someone else (usually one of your superiors) will be receiving the praise and the shout outs for your work and that's if you're lucky! I'm not saying any work place anywhere is going to shower you with gum drops and give you a 6 figure salary just for showing up. A job is a job and nothing is ever perfect nor should it be. I still love the Fitness Industry and am very thankful for everything Gold's taught me.
