Pros
Lack of job security
Limited managerial support
Weak team culture in most areas
Poor communication during critical situations
Cons
This review is based on my real experience, and I genuinely want to caution others out there—please be careful if you are considering joining Cheffelo (formerly Godtlevertgruppen).
The company may hire you quickly when they have an urgent need, but the same speed can apply when it comes to letting people go. In my case, the exit happened very quickly and without clear or constructive reasoning, which was both unexpected and difficult to process.
The work pressure is extremely high, and support from team management can be very limited. Instead of guidance, it often feels like you are left on your own to deal with unrealistic expectations.
Team dynamics can also be challenging. At times, it felt like decisions were made without giving a fair opportunity to explain or present your side, which creates a stressful and uncomfortable work environment.
Management quality varies, and in some teams, the lack of leadership and direction has led to low morale and multiple people leaving within a short period of time. This significantly impacts both performance and overall team stability.
My advice: do not get carried away by the promise of a higher salary or the company’s brand name. Carefully evaluate the team, manager, and long-term stability before making a decision. Especially if you joining Tech team under the current CTO, Anton. be very cautious, he is worst manager you will find without having any sense, team under him is really demotivated and many people left their job under him. You may risk leaving a stable job for something that does not meet expectations and negatively affects your career and well-being.
