Pros
Hours don't seem to be above industry average, they will hire beginners
Cons
The management ethic is appalling. You don't get access to a kettle, fridge, microwave. If you want a cup of tea you have to buy it through the cafe down stairs in the subterranean bunker which is the only communal area, for a 'subsidised' price, eg about three times what a cup of tea actually costs. Disgusting offices. Pretty sure noone cleans the work areas. Horribly dark, old-fashioned, poor temperature regulated. Bizarrely temporary feel to everyone there. Nobody welcomes anyone else or even announces a new person is arriving. They just appear and get absorbed into the depressing machine. Bare minimum benefits. Mediocre pension and that's it. Became clear instantly that neither salary increase or promotion was possible. It would actually be masochistic to stay longer than the smallest amount of time necessary to get another job.
