Pros
Remnants of excellent talent & strong camaraderie in some pockets of the company. Some telecommuting options. No shortage of work. Analysts can go after a market and build up a practice.
Cons
HR is totally unresponsive. Anything it does (rarely) do is always terrible. Corporate management turning the screws for profitability, forcing researchers to shoestring. That profitability is going to hire more and more sales who don't know products and are pushing any quick buck, eroding quality of the product. More and more time wasters. Internal reporting, meetings, accountability, and overall red tape. Zero communication by upper management to employees, but that could be a good thing.
