      Pros

      In general, a few coworkers are good people, but everyone is exhausted and therefore, most people are not friendly. Everyone is fed up, and it shows.

      Cons

      Many positions easily have 60+ hours worth of work, and they expect you to keep up. If you can't, people are not afraid to escalate their issues directly to HR and the company president. Due to the small size of the local plant, there's really no opportunity for growth, and the work load is so much, you will never be able to be effective and successful.

      Pros

      GCS has a good reputation in Europe for quality of products delivered; and, these products will probably be offered in the US as "cutting edge" product. Employees will have something to be proud to be associated with if this happens.

      Cons

      Right now the organization is in a state of flux as it is a new entity (spin off from Crown Cork and Seal). Employees are demoralized and with the downswing in the economy, most people are unsure about their jobs. This does not lead to people wanting to embrace the new culture. Long term, it will probably be a good place to work.
