Pros

Amazing people – I’ve made friends for life in my brief time at the company. Loved being able to work from home. I’ve learned a decent amount, and I now have startup experience.

Cons

Lots. Senior leadership lacked stability and direction - multiple VPs joined and left during the 9 months I was there, and the CEO appeared disconnected from the day-to-day realities of staff. As a result, morale across the team was noticeably low, and many employees felt undervalued. Compensation was also a concern. My salary as an intern was below the London Living Wage, and we had to do weekend shifts. I was led to believe that the internship would lead to a full-time role after six months; however, I was instead given a three-month extension with the suggestion that I might secure a permanent role during that time. Despite taking on responsibilities equal to full-time employees, my pay and job status remained unchanged. I hope the company takes steps to improve the working environment and that the dedicated employees still there are recognised and supported in the way they deserve.

Pros

1. You’re given real ownership from early on. It’s not a place where you sit back as you’re expected to think commercially and act like a real owner of your book 2. Strong exposure to the bigger picture. Sales isn’t siloed, so you understand product, operations, and strategy more than you might in a larger company 3. Leadership is quite accessible. You’re close to decision-making and can raise ideas or concerns directly. 4. When the team is aligned, it feels collaborative and low-ego. Wins feel meaningful because you know how much work goes into them. I have left due to relocation rather than dissatisfaction. It’s not always easy, but the experience stays with you. I learned a lot during my time here especially about accountability and operating in a high-expectation environment

Cons

1. The pace can be intense, particularly during periods of change. At times, priorities shift while expectations remain high. Internal communication is crucial 2. Here is not an environment for someone who prefers very fixed structure or predictability It requires a certain mindset - you need to be comfortable with intensity, ownership, and change. I’ve seen people join expecting a more “chill” sales role and struggle because that’s just not the reality here.

Pros

The company has grown very quickly which creates lots of opportunities to learn, stretch and take on meaningful responsibility early. If you’re motivated by ownership and impact, there’s plenty of room to grow here. The leadership team is approachable and receptive to feedback. Following a recent restructure, there’s been a noticeable step change in transparency and communication, which has helped rebuild clarity and trust. Regular weekly updates and clearer leadership messaging have made it easier to understand priorities and direction, particularly after a period of uncertainty. The culture remains collaborative, with supportive teammates who are willing to step in and help when things are moving fast.

Cons

The recent restructure had a real impact on morale and created uncertainty across the business. While the changes were positioned as necessary, they were difficult and understandably unsettling for many people. As a fast-scaling company, priorities have shifted at times and some processes are still evolving. The pace is fast and won’t be for everyone - it’s best suited to people who enjoy a dynamic environment and can adapt as things change.
