Pros
Great people to work with. They care about us as people. Good life and work time balance. Opportunities to learn and change life internally in the company. Growing career is not easy, even with that. Solid and mature company that does not take risks in a bad way.
Cons
They don't actually hear the employees when defining to change something on their commercial model. Old legacy technology taking time to update. Geosoft says they listen to the customers and, unfortunately, this is not so true. Geosoft Technology heads used to have great ideas, ahead of time and ahead of other companies, but it takes so much time to implement and move. It is common to see others starting to develop before Geosoft and releasing it early, quicker, more efficiently. Technical leadership should share more internally to inspire their own employees in taking Geosoft image and inspiring customers outside as well. Conservative company. Young people that do not actually contribute to the company grows faster than others and we cannot see exactly why and how.
