Pros
Good leaning, you can make good friends. Genpact is like a university for beginners who don’t even know about corporate.
Cons
I would strongly advise both freshers and experienced professionals to think carefully before considering an opportunity at Genpact. In my experience, the organization falls short in several critical areas, including work culture, employee well-being, and professional growth. There are noticeable concerns around workplace environment, lack of transparency in management practices, and instances of favoritism and internal politics that can significantly impact career progression. Additionally, the company needs to place much greater emphasis on ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace for all employees. Addressing these concerns should be a priority for leadership and HR. If you have other opportunities—particularly with reputed firms such as Big Four accounting firms or other top organizations—it would be wise to evaluate those options first. Based on my perspective, Genpact should be considered only when alternatives are limited. For those currently employed, it is advisable to focus on upskilling, gaining relevant experience, and planning a transition after 1–2 years to organizations that offer better growth, culture, and work-life balance.
