Pros

Fun working on devices. Pace of work is alright in some areas. Helping people with phone issues is nice if you know exactly what you're talking about. But a lot of stuff is learned on the fly. Possibility for bonus, albeit difficult to attain for most. Handing someone a device and seeing the smile on their face from the work you did is very rewarding. I enjoy making a sale every once in awhile, but how much we have to try and force stuff down people's throat makes me feel like a robot. The district manager is probably the best guy in the company in my opinion. He works way too hard, whatever they are paying him, it is not enough. If I had his job I would have quit long ago, no matter what they paid me. The coworkers I have worked with have been nothing but awesome. The team work aspect has always been on point. Everyone knows what they have to do and does it for the most part. It's a simple job to get into and easy to learn if you are smart enough. Intimidating at first but gets better after a month or two of working in it.

Cons

Hours are probably the worst for salaried employees. That and I don't think how they pay salary is legal. Especially because everything is on the salaried employee's shoulders and if something goes wrong it's all their fault. Some salaried employees will work 55+ hours one week but still have to work the 45 required the next week to get a full paycheck or their pay is deducted. To me, that's not a salaried position. It's called working for free and if you don't work overtime then you don't get paid basically. Switched from personal family business into a corporate nightmare. I loved the small business vibes but now I dont even know who to talk to when I have problems. The higher ups, in my opinion, are starting to get in over their head. More so than that, I dont feel valued as an employee. I make them a lot of money and I am still struggling to pay bills, meanwhile I see them all rolling up in new cars and going on vacation. I think someone needs to tell them that owning a business is more than a full time job and requires every bit of your attention at all times or things start to go bad like they are now. There is a high turnover rate because it's not just me that feels under appreciated. They ask too much of every employee and don't compensate the one's that really matter. And it shows. I hear everyday how someone would love to have a different job Also there is a bonus structure set up for managers that is very hard to hit. Especially using structures that have been proven ineffective, and have been brought up as such, to indicate if someone gets a bonus or not. The systems used to run day to day operations is sometimes buggy, and everything is run on the internet. If that goes down then you basically just sit there and cant do business. There is a lot on everyone's plate. Each week something new gets added to the list of things you have to do.
