Pros
Advancement Opportunities. Internal Training. Flexible Schedule. Acknowledge Major Holidays (time off). Work-Life-Balance. Remote options (when applicable). Yearly pay increase (typically up to 3%**) with good or exceptional performance. Truly believing in internal promotion and advancement and retention. Health, Dental, Vision (its ok, but not terrible). 401k. They even offer FML (family medical leave) that won't take away from your sick or vacation time*
Cons
8 out of the 11 federal holidays are paid for (the other 3 has to come out of your own accumulated leave if you chose to use it, otherwise you will work those days). Internal job postings can be mislead (posted with a candidate in mind, but advertised for all) so you are left being hopeful when the candidate was already chosen. Pay Band is generous but also misleading due to "targeted pay" already selected for position so the Max Pay Band is hard to achieve.
