Pros

Non customer facing for the most part. You learn a lot from the work if you are new to IT Close team-oriented tasks. Culture is pretty nice and supportive.

Cons

Hours became more scarce. The pay for the work is mediocre. Best Buy management will sometimes pull employees for bogus tasks. The next step up in Geek Squad is the regional "Service manager" at the time of writing. Basically goes from 0-100.

Pros

Great people, amazing boss, flexible hours. Learned a lot about hardware and software troubleshooting and am always entertained repairing iPhone hardware.

Cons

Fast paced environment that may overwhelm new hires. In this role you are an anchor for the Consultation Agents so dealing with their problems on top of your own repairs can get a bit troublesome at times.
