Pros

One of Geary LSF's best qualities is its people; they're experts at their craft, they're willing to share their knowledge with clients and coworkers, and they are approachable and laid back to deal with. This makes for a collaborative work environment where ongoing learning and a contributive approach are commonplace. The new leadership says the company is committed to improving the client experience by investing in its people. This seems to be the case with new company-wide training and onboarding programs and a lot of recent promotions and new personnel teams and task forces being created. I really like that Geary LSF’s industry is always changing and evolving. The speed of change makes it hard to be bored for very long. The company has been improving in adjusting to industry change through the input and ideas of its employees without being too unfocused. They don’t seem to promote on tenure or seniority alone, which I respect. I have been able to achieve my personal growth through working hard, having a specific vision of where I wanted to go in my career, and actively planning with my superiors to make it happen. The pay and benefits are competitive for the most part and perks like food, snacks and team building/company events help keep things light when the workload gets heavy.

Cons

There can be times when the workload is burdensome. This is an agency though, so that’s part of the industry. It seems leadership are working hard on staffing up and cross-departmental communication to help avoid overworking people. I’ve been able to improve my work/life balance by proactively asking for help and recognizing the need for a vacation or break before I start to burn out.

Hi There, Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to leave a review. We agree, we love our people too! Agency work definitely comes in ebbs and flows and we appreciate you understanding that we make every effort possible to allocate resources when things get a bit bogged down. If we can help in any way, please let the team know.
