Pros

They front as a good company, will do everything they can to get you hooked, give you a starting bonus for moving out here, they have a nice campus, good medical coverage, a decent working environment, supplies, and it seems very alluring like a brand new college campus.

Cons

This company will never give you a decent raise no matter how hard you work. You can get full marks, be the shining employee at the end of the year and still only get the minimum 3% raise each year which doesn't even keep up with inflation or cost of living increases. Their woke, healthy mindset, supportive, allure is just a front for a company that will bleed every waking cent out of you. If you want to make up for the lack in pay with more hours and working hard hours on overtime they won't allow that. Infact, the only they want you to do is stay put and don't complain. Meanwhile they'll brag and boast about making an extra million or billion each quarter while you and your colleagues never see a single cent of that. They union bust and every superior all the way up to the board makes sure you're fighting over breadcrumbs so no one pulls their head out of the sand to see what's going on.

Pros

Good benefits and work life balance. It's a good culture and I've never worked at a place where your immediate peers are this helpful and pleasant to work with, even across teams and offices. If you want to just come in and do just what is required for your job and go home with the knowledge you have a stable job, this is the perfect place to work. I'd only recommend working here if you just want a job, but don't care about a career.

Cons

There is poor career advancement, especially if you aren't male. Leadership does not care about leading people. The RTO has made working here less appealing. The excuse that you can't collaborate unless you are in the same building makes no sense when you work with people in 6 different countries. It is about control and appearances, all due to incredibly poor senior leadership strategies. The pay is also low and so is the quality of the software you work on. Leadership likes to talk quality, but they like fast and cheap. They will not support you in actual software quality nor implement changes to improve it. The same issues happen over and over without improvement.
