Gap Ministries Response
9y
As you have read in many of these posts this is a difficult yet one of the most rewarding ministry opportunities you could enter into. We are working on ways to get our ministers the time off they need to remain healthy. We work with everyone individually as needs and issues arise. We are family and we support one another.
I really like the work environment here. Its definately a family feel.
There is a large volunteer pool and several people volunteer their time more than 3 days a week.
Leadership allows me to make decisions without a lot of oversight.
I know that the holy spirit is working thru the people at Gap Ministries to help others in the Tucson community.
I feel like the leaders Pam and Greg Ayers always have the best intentions in their hearts when making decisions.
Cons
If you do not like change this isn't the place for you.
There would have been pros to list if GAP would have abided by their own rules and regulations. It also would have been pros to list if the benefit package as described in the job description.
Cons
This place has a revolving door of houseparents due to poor management as well as poor morals and ethics that lead to only more struggle and trauma for the kids who are supposed to matter the most.
