We encourage all employees, staff through partner, to build relationship through team building events, company social events and other company-hosted gatherings held throughout the year. We also understand that everyone values a good work-life balance. With our Firm, and most other public accounting firms, employees are expected to work extra hours during busy season and other peak times of the year. Overtime and occasional travel may be needed when large projects are due, which is a common expectation in this industry. We would never ask employees to work 50-60 hours per week, every week of the year. GALLINA employees travel 15% less per year than other Firms, on average.
The Firm has experienced some turnover of key positions. This turnover was voluntary and as a result of retirements, as in the case with our CFO. The Firm is committed to quality personnel and delivering timely feedback to ensure performance is evaluated on an ongoing basis. The Firm does not terminate without just cause and proper warning including a performance plan to ensure employees are provided with a roadmap for success.
