Inept managers and even more inept senior leaders. Keep promoting people based on politics and loyalty and it will be GSK 2009 all over again. Seems like most major decisions are made by throwing a dart at a dartboard - all done without input from the actual people that have to carry out the inane marching orders. The latest sales initiative with the creative moniker, COCO, is a disaster and encourages reps to act in a manner that is different when their managers are not around. Don't expect recognition or promotion if you're not a female and/or minority. Restructuring every 18 to 24 months. Don't expect to keep your same territory or manager.
