Pros

Company practise good trash clearance weekly.

Cons

Company often crosses professional boundaries by sharing employees' personal stories on the company podcast without their consent. This lack of respect for privacy and boundaries is concerning and unprofessional. The host has used the podcast as a platform to manipulate public perception and push their own agenda, often under the guise of 'telling it like it is'. Company has a tendency to blame industry trends for their financial decision. The founder frequently cites industry struggles as a reason to deny bonuses and pay raises. Unfortunately, the team lead is someone that appears to be out of touch with the industry development and has lost touch with the skills required. Team lead rarely provide guidance or support, but are quick to criticise without offering constructive solution or feedback. There are limited opportunities for professional development, and employees are often overworked and undervalued, Company priorities productivity over company growth and well-being, creating a sweatshop-like environment. Be cautious of the manipulative management style, as the boss has a tendency to gaslight employees. I would advise anyone that wants to work here to just forget about it. Not worth your time and mental health.

Pros

A very young and fun culture, the majority of the people here you meet are nice, flat-hierarchy.

Cons

There is no HR department, no proper KPIs to serve as guidelines for performance reviews, and a lot of over-promising, which leaves a bad taste in your employees’ mouths. Favouritism is also very apparent here. Management gossips about and judges employees. Don’t be surprised by rude or inappropriate remarks made about someone, or even you, for open conversations. These behaviours speak a lot about the standards they set for the rest of the workplace. This results in tolerating certain toxic, self-centred employees with poor work ethics, insubordination, backstabbing, and even bullying. When issues within the office are brought up countless times, management does not listen or take feedback seriously. They turn a blind eye and refuse to tackle problems within the office, asking for feedback merely for the sake of appearance, creating a detrimental work culture and low morale, which is one of the reasons people leave. If you are considering whether this company is worth joining (the fact that you are reading this is a good start), make sure to browse through content related to this company. Don’t believe everything at face value that they try to sell you. Cross-reference what you read here and make an informed decision for yourself.
