Pros

"Paid" Holiday's off... more like will use up the very little amount of PTO we earn on the holidays. The salary range is not accurate, guys that have been there for 10+ years were still making $13 an hour. You will also have to work weekends with no extra incentive pay. Some of my coworkers were nice, but nice doesn't pay the bills.

Cons

Grossly underpaid. You can make more at McDonalds. Owner of Austin store is extremely immature and unprofessional. Also there is zero upward mobility, you will be stuck at a measly $12 per hour with very small bonuses. BTW taking a day off is a crime there as well! Do not plan on having a social life, that's illegal at golf tec.... sorry GOLFTEC! STRAIGHT to golf jail!

Pros

People who make the money everyday for the company. Those on the front lines teaching lessons and actually bringing in the revenue.

Cons

Leadership - Especially C-Suite. They have an absolutely grade-school level of what it takes to be a cohesive team, let alone run a company. So much infighting, posturing, and outright disrespect. The entire time I was with the company, no-one in the c-suite could give you an idea of what the goals of the company were. There was no long-term strategy, just talk about what could be. Then, back to doing the same thing over and over. and over. You have a CEO who held on to people for too long, hired great people, but continually got in their way, a bit of the Peter Principal. Leadership down the line is abysmal, and honestly, it isn't their fault in many ways. Leadership Development (which is always the fancy buzzword) is non-existent. It was talked about ad nauseam, but nothing was ever done. No resources to do so. Senior leaderhship had huge blind spots in many areas, that others on their team were too scared to call out. Why? Fear of not being part of the club.
