Pros
-great pay if you are in corporate sales and their venture capital dept. -treated like a star if your Japanese is close to native level and has a MBA from top tier business school plus consultant experience -lots company retreats and they can throw some great parties
Cons
Way to many to list -most foreigners can't survive there over 2 years, almost no representation in top management or in HR -many sexual/power harassment from "great performers" and CEO himself -get brain washed like being in a cult, they have their own "bible" -have to put in a lot overtime and sacrifice your own time to "sit-in" their late night/weekend classes and tons of readings (no overtime pay) -close minded management and evaluation is based on your popularity from senior to middle management -no concrete strategy as company direction. empty and meaningless annual goal announced every year but soon to be forgotten the next. -all the contents and courses are rehashing from the textbooks from 30 years ago. no new innovation or planning has been done.
