Pros

A few things I really value about working with GL Solutions are the strong team culture and relationships—it genuinely feels like people support each other here. I also appreciate the focus on continuous growth and feedback, which pushes me to improve. And the mission-driven aspect of the work makes it meaningful, knowing what we build actually helps government agencies and the public.

Cons

One area GL Solutions could continue improving is workload balance and ensuring expectations are sustainable as the company grows. There’s also an opportunity to strengthen documentation and knowledge sharing, which would help people work more efficiently. Additionally, continuing to refine career paths and reducing operational inefficiencies could make it easier for employees to see long-term growth and focus on high-impact work.

Pros

One of the things I value most about working at GL Solutions is the opportunity to solve complex problems and work directly with agencies to improve their systems. The work is challenging and requires collaboration across teams, which keeps the job engaging. I also appreciate the level of autonomy employees have and the knowledge many team members bring to solving difficult issues.

Cons

One area that could improve is strengthening quality control earlier in the development lifecycle. At times issues make it into UAT or production that could potentially be caught sooner with additional regression testing and clearer handoffs between teams. Improving visibility into task ownership and status between strategy, development, and QA would also help reduce delays and rework.
