Pros
GE is a great place to build a foundation and get your training and development in early. Their leadership programs are well recognized. I've met so many smart people that are willing to talk about their careers and become your mentor.
Cons
Little work/life balance and I can see many glass ceilings to diverse groups. Although there is a big push, it's difficult to get GE out of the old corporate America mindset. Not much forward thinking and innovation.
