Pros
I have been working at GDS for close to 4 years and I am now well settled with a great book of business. The SVP Oliver who runs the NYC office is a fantastic leader and I have truly enjoyed working with him and the wider leadership team. Don't get me wrong GDS can be a tough place to work at times (especially at the beginning) however if you are willing to commit and work hard; the rewards are endless. I am now making very good money and it will only be going up from here. We also sell fantastic solutions that are truly valuable for our clients judging from the fact I have worked with some companies consistently for over 2 years now. I also find the culture and my colleagues to be very pleasant and easy to deal with.
Cons
Not every company is perfect and it would be great to have some more in-bound leads and enquiries. Remember the first 12 months can be tough but this role is truly rewarding once you get a roll on like any other sales role.
