Pros
Great paid training and orientation lasting three days, which included getting CPR/AED certified. Upon completion of orientation, the very next day I was sent to my site and started to work. I work quite literally seven minutes from my home! Not only was that a plus but everyone I work with is an outstanding leader(sergeants) and supervisor. I trust every single person as my leader and enjoy who I work with. I've been treated with nothing but professionalism and trust and respect since day one of orientation. I believe I got quite lucky in my post and who I work with, and I plan on taking G4S as a career opportunity. For some writing reviews about not being able to move up and such, I disagree. Their are plenty of openings and room for advancement. In fact a person I talked to in upper management started working as bank security and now hes a trainer for a couple states and does orientations. A promotion should never be handed out, and should be earned, so if you want it go and grab it. If its not available at your site, look possibly at another close by site that might be looking for upper management. G4S would rather hire within, then start a hiring process from outside the company.
Cons
The website of G4S. Looking up careers and searching is horrible, and most of the time shows inaccurate results.
