Pros
It used to have great people. Only a few of those are left now. It used to have a real spirit of camaraderie and great team culture. But its hard to keep that up when everyone's getting the axe. It used to have a good model you don't often see in smaller MSPs, with dedicated sales staff, project teams and multiple tiers of knowledgeable help desk staff who could tackle problems of any scale. But all of those teams have been gutted now. I guess it still has a pretty nice work-from-home plan.
Cons
When I joined FM it was an organization that was growing too fast and experiencing all of the issues you would expect: it wasn't training people well, everyone was overworked, we didn't know our clients well enough. We had talent though, and a drive to do right by both our staff and our clients. Then came the buyout. Fully Managed isn't Fully Managed any more. None of the original staff remain and the whole think is Telus top to bottom now. That means the only thing that matters are how many additional products you can shove down a client's throat or how much you can nickel and dime them for everything. FM was great once, or at least it could have been. What remains now is wildly dysfunctional.
