Pros
In this new era of Freebird, there’s more trust and genuine interactions with each other. We each have our roles, but we are a small (but mighty!) team, so there’s a lot of collaboration. No more being silo’d. I have more control and responsibility for my world now vs minimal interactions with people in the office, staring at a computer screen, and having little autonomy. It’s super motivating knowing others trust my work and insight.
Professional stuff aside, there is a real personal investment here and I couldn’t ask for a better company to work for. It’s been a journey, but I am so glad to have an opportunity to be a part of Freebird as we turn over a new leaf with new leadership that cares about the people and not just us as employees or customers.
What we’ve been able to accomplish so far makes me proud! I can’t wait to see what else our collective efforts bring in next year…and the year after that…and the year after that…and so on!
