Pros
They provide excellent training opportunities and opportunities for growth. There is some emphasis on work life balance, but it's not consistent, and varies from team to team depending on the people you are working with. They will try to work with you to help you create a career that you want.
Cons
Culture was a top down message that wasn't generally followed by all the employees. I personally experienced derogatory comments from my superiors within the office related to gender and sexual orientation. I also witnessed minor instances of sexual harassment of my female coworkers at work sponsored events. While not commonplace, it was a pretty regular occurrence and I never noted any reprimand for those actions and comments. The company also has inconsistent expectations across teams and departments. Since this is public accounting, one employee can have very mixed messages relating to hours expectations (Some expect staff to stay and work 10/12 hours days, others expect the work assigned to be finished, even others expect staff to simply not work as much).
