Pros
The parking and amenities in the building were GREAT
Cons
Fragomen itself is a good company, but the Houston office is a hot mess. Unless you LOVE immigration, don't waste your time. They expect you to work hard for a company that's not yours. The position they're always hiring for is for a team that is a shitshow. They can't keep people! Once I started the job, I heard about all the people who quit because of the team. This job sucked the life out of me. I became so miserable going to work every day. You start to feel like a robot, which is what they want. I was so happy to start until I realized how unorganized they really are. They have no real processes. The senior business immigration consultant that you'll work under is rude as hell and micromanages. Apparently, everyone has issues with her, but they keep her around because she's a brown noser with a lot of experience. One of the attorneys is horrible to work with and treats you like her assistant. She's very condescending and microaggressive. They make it impossible to want to work there. They don't see that there's an issue. The work load really isn't heavy, but how unorganized the process is makes it feel like a lot. This firm works harder, not smarter! The amount of unnecessary emails and meetings is insane. This job is for people right out of college who is interested in employment base immigration. If you have experience, you'll see very quickly how horrible this firm is. 9 times out of 10 the firm you're leaving is better. This firm is like a Range Rover, nice on the outside but a bad engine on the inside. I was ONLY there for a check like most people. They want you to eat, sleep, and breathe immigration. I did the bare minimum until it was time for me to go. If you choose to work here, stay long enough to transfer to a different department, because the one they'll hire you for will have you with bags under your eyes and miserable. BEWARE!!
