Pros

Some people really do care about your success, but they don't seem to be in upper management. There are a lot of products, technologies, and applications to gain experience in and expand your knowledge base. They are a global company with customers all over the world which gives them plenty of stability during a pandemic.

Cons

The industry served is only hospitality, so while having global customers they are dependent on the hospitality industry. Decisions made by senior leadership will leave you in awe. Benefits will be taken away and pay cut at a moment's notice. The company will ride you ragged and ask you to do more and more with no benefit to you. If you express your overwhelmed - that's on you and you'll get more work/responsibilities. The recent merger has turned into a hostile takeover and the best people are leaving in droves.

Pros

Very few pros come to mind, there were some great people on the individual contributor level I worked with across multiple teams however many left or are on their way out.

Cons

This is a highly toxic and disorganized work environment. Leadership’s lack of knowledge, direction, and experience is apparent. When I started, leadership was disengaged and disconnected to everything. I noticed there was a sudden and obvious change in leadership’s approach where “urgent” asks from above were being requested with little to no context. Unrealistic and changing expectations started being communicated as the norm. This caused confusion, chaos, and burn out, resulting in extremely low morale across teams. Concerns and feedback were either ignored or people were penalized/suddenly terminated for speaking up. Lastly, it doesn’t go unsaid there is no work life balance or professional boundaries here. This is a work environment that sets people up for failure and can have a serious impact on overall well-being.
