For instance, Outside magazine requires employee feedback in order to make the list determination each year – in 2018, our employees rated Foundant #23 out of the 50 Best Companies to Work. 2018 marks the fifth year Foundant has been named to that list, as well as the INC 5000 Fastest Growing Companies. It can be difficult to balance growth and culture – but we work hard to find a mix that works for our team. By offering flexible work schedules and remote work accommodations, unlimited vacation time, vacation reimbursement, personal and professional development opportunities, matched giving, and more, we strive to give our team members the tools to find the mix that works for them. Client renewal rates, Net Promoter Scores, and daily feedback responses from clients indicate their appreciation for our attention and how we serve them. Being a client-focused company is not only one of our founding principles, it’s a major factor in how we hire the talented individuals who join our team. Finally, Foundant has almost no turnover among our team with approximately one full time employee leaving voluntarily per year. With these details in mind, it’s difficult to understand how Foundant could be perceived as a company with its sole focus on the bottom line. However, what is apparent, is how you are obviously feeling. Based on your feedback, it’s time to meet with either your manager, HR, or any member of our executive team to discuss what is leading to your feelings. These are very important for us to hear and important for you, personally, to communicate. Going to work each day feeling as you are is harmful for you, your team, and for Foundant. If you do not feel you can or are unwilling to take this step, perhaps it is time for you to move on to a better matched organization.
