Pros
There is a lot of flexibility in the project division, that lets you really push your career further. Bosses are flexible, so long as the work is done well, and the rewards - such as seeing a minesite built - are amazing.
Cons
Promotions can be difficult, if you don't network thoroughly, and don't plan your successor. Pay is good only if you market yourself well to begin with, and keep pushing for it. This is not a company where you can sit on your laurels!
