Pros

Great mission in pediatric mental healthcare

Cons

Chaotic, but early stage company so that’s to be expected somewhat

Pros

- Genuine respect and appreciation for clinical team - Clinicians at highest level of executive leadership and founding team - Work hard play hard spirit - Genuinely delivering on mission to provide better care to more families- invest in training and onboarding of all therapists and partnership with Child Mind Institute allows for clinical growth, learning, and high quality standards - Respect, appreciation, comradery from leadership and among colleagues - Full time salaried therapist roles as well as 1099 and part time

Cons

- If delivering insurance based pediatric mental health services was easy.... well, someone else would already be doing it! - The clinical work is hard, and working with kids means a lot of afterschool and evening and weekend hours no matter what setting you're in. That can get old. - Start up pace and trailblazing can be uncomfortable for some (though therapists do not work more than 40 hours, the unknown and frequent change can be unsettling) - No matter what at the end of the week and month we have to deliver enough clinical services to foster a healthy company.

Pros

Fort has some good people and you can get helpful feedback from an actual person when facing clinical challenges. Management does seem to actual care about the work we do.

Cons

The hours are nearly all nights and weekends. It's a tech start up so changes are regular and can be big. When I started I was full time and then they made all the full time people part time by pretty much chopping salaries in half.
